Keep Going Together Bread & Eggs Fund
Keep Going Together (KGT) is a grassroots organization working to ease suffering in the Charlottesville community through mutual aid. When food access is threatened, we believe it’s not enough to offer one-time charity—we must show up for one another consistently. Community means interdependence.
This holiday season, KGT is partnering with Market Central at the IX Farmers Market to help fill gaps caused by withheld benefits. Through December 19, this fund will provide SNAP beneficiaries with a weekly loaf of locally baked bread or a dozen fresh local eggs.
A small donation—about $5 for eggs or $10 for bread—helps nourish our neighbors and supports local farmers and bakers. This is mutual aid in action: caring for people and our local food system at the same time.
